Note: For those that don’t have the budget for both the Aormatic Polyurethane and Silicone you can apply the Aormatic now and come back within two years to apply the Silicone top coat.

EnergyGuard Aromatic Polyurethane
1gal/100SF yields 10.88 dry mils. Up to 1.5gal/100SF per coat. 2 coats, 25 - 30 dry mils recommended.

EnergyGuard Silicone Roof Coating- Will take ponding water 365 days a year!
1.5gal/100SF yields 15.52 dry mils. Up to 1.5gal/100SF per coat. 2 coats, 25 - 30 dry mils recommended.

The following roof types require only one coat of the EnergyGuard Silicone at a 20 mil Coverage.

1. Metal-Any rust requires one coat of PrimeLock Rust Primer at 500 sq ft per 5 gallon pail
2. Fiberglass
3. Urethane Foam

The following types of roofs require one coat of the Aromatic polyurethane base coat and then one coat of the EnergyGuard Silicone.

1. Asphalt
2. Built-up roof
3. Concrete - Must be dry and no rain in the forecast 30 Mil on Energugard Silicone required for warranty coverage
4. Modified Bitumen
5. EPDM 25 mil for warranty coverage
6. PVC If aged for at least 7 years (adhesion test recommended)
7. TPO-If aged for at least 7 years (adhesion test recommended)

Metal Roofs

1. EnergyMax 1gal/100SF yields 9.6 dry mils.
2. Up to 1.5gal/100SF per coat. 2 coats, 25 - 30 dry mils recommended
3. Any rust requires one coat of PrimeLock Rust Primer at 500 sq ft per 5 gallon pail
4. Any pitch roof can use EnergyMax
5. If flat metal roof you will need the EnergyGuard Silicone
